At the Neighborhood ball Beyonce sand to first lady Michelle and President Barack Obama as they danced they're first dance. The emotional performance of "At Last" was a symblisim for our country coming together, as to say At Last we are one, At Last we have someone in office we trust and feel comfortable with.

On January 20, 2009 Barack Hussein Obama Jr. Became the first African American In U.S. History to ever become President. Below is video of him being sworn in. The date also marked the 44th year of Martin Luther King's "I have a Dream" speech. Obama's inauguration actually became the huge festivity it was always meant to be. More than 2 million people travelled to Washington D.C. to watch his being sworn in as well being able to tell BUSH TO GET THE FUCK OUT THE WHITE HOUSE (Literally people were booing and singin as he was leaving)

On November 4th 2008 Barack Obama Became the first ever African American Presiident-Elect. He had the most successful campaign ever. The election brought out the most voters in American History. He got more votes than any President in the History of America. People waited in lines for hours to become part of history (I was in line so long, by the time i got to vote he had already won, that's just how many people voted for him.)

Baracks race to the White house was historical the first time there's ever been a woman, an african American, and a Senior Citizen running for president. By now both of Obama's books have become New York times bestsellers. He is a pop culture phenomenom. Everything from his background, to music preference are topics of discussion. His racial background and family blurred racial color lines. How can you be racist against a guy whose mother is white, father is african, who was raised in indonesia, hawaii, and chicago. He came from a single parent-lachkey kid house hold. Barack Obama is every American. From street corner drug dealers to soccor moms he shows a new way of life to many Americans both young and old.

In 2004 he was invited to speak at the DNC and his buzz was breath taking, after his great speech people all around the country asked if he would run for president.

Barack was elected to democratic senate for the state of Illonois in 1996. He also gets re-elected in 1998, the same year the couple gave birth to their first daughter Malia Ann Obama. While on senate he registered over 100,000 new voters and was responsible for helping more then 20 bills get passed.

In 2001 the couple gave birth two their second daughter Natasha also called Sasha.

In 2003 His fight for U.S. Senate was a rough fight but other candidates scandals came out, helping Obama become the 5th African American in the U.S. Senate History
