JAY-Z AND BEYONCE MET SOMETIME AROUND 1998 AND BUT DID NOT COLLABORATE UNTIL BEYONCE WAS FEATURED IN ROCAFELLA RECORDING ARTIST AMIL'S SONG/VIDEO FOR "I GOT THAT" WHICH WAS DIRECTED BY JAY-Z IN 2000.
The photo above was at an after party in 2001 after the BET Awards, shortly afterJay-z's next single was released "H to the Izzo" which featured a guest appearnce from Beyonce and Destiny's Child ( lol). The single was included on Jay-z's classic album " The Blueprint"
In 2002 Jay-z released "The Blueprint 2: the gift and the curse" which featured "03 Bonnie and Clyde" which sparked plenty of rumors. Both Jay and Bee kept their mouths closed when asked about eachother.That's when we all fell "Crazy in Love." The funky track by Beyonce feat. Jay-z and was released on her debute album "Dangerously In Love" the following summer. Jay-z even recorded a verse on the neptunes "Frontin" playing around with how secretive and in denial they were about their relationship, remaining both "really private" people. Jay-z released what was to be his last album " The Black Album" while Beyonce made "Fighting Temptations," promoted her classic debute album "Dangerously in Love" and won tons of awards. The following year Jay-z came out and released a collaborative album with Linkin Park. Beyonce won 8 grammy awards for her album and performed 3 time once with Prince. As Destiny's child reunited the ROC fell apart, business partners grew apart and the death of a dynasty happened right before our eyes. All the while Destiny's child embarked on their last album and tour together releasing hits like "Lose my Breath", and "Cater to You"

In 2005 Jay-z became the Vice President of Def Jam Records, not only did he sell his portion of Rocafella but he made sure he got rights to all of his masters. He became a part owner of the NEW JERSEY NETS, and signed a contract to relocate them to become the BROOKLYN NETS in 2011. Beyonce made a guest appearance on Jay-z out of retirement album in 2006 "Kingdom Come"
In 2006 Beyonce released her sophmore album "B'Day" on her birthday 9/4/2006. She also starred in "Dream Girls." She went on he tour "The Beyonce Experience." Jay-z was featured on Bday on "Upgrade you" and "Deja vu." In 2007 Jay-z released "American Gangsta" an album inspired by the motion picture "American Gangster"

On April 4, 2008 Jay-z and Beyonce were married after 7 or 8 years of dating, depending on who you ask. Beyonce starred in "Cadillac Records" portraying Etta James. In November Beyonce released her third album "I Am....Sasha Fierce" a double disc album show both sides of her Beyonce and Sasha her fierce alter ego. Jay-z signed one of the music industries contracts ever for $150 million with LiveNation.
